This pattern is for a fingerless mittens and scarf set. The mittens are knitted on a circular needle in one piece in the round using a magic loop technique. The pattern can also be used to knit using double pointed needles. The scarf is knitted back and forth on a circular needle.

The pattern is suitable for women, teens and children. Just choose the right color!

Difficulty level: intermediate – to knit these mittens you need to know about the magic loop technique or have basic knitting in the round skills. Cast on and bind off knowledge is required.

The finished mittens sizes are for:
Child – approx. 16cm / 6.25” in circumference, 14cm/5.5”long
Teen – woman S – approx. 17cm / 6.75” in circumference, 17.5cm/7”long
Woman M – XL – approx. 18cm / 7.0” in circumference, 19cm/7.5” long

The finished scarf measures:
Child – approx. 50”/127cm long, 7”/18cm width
Teen – woman – approx. 65”/166cm long, 7”/18cm width

The length and width is easily adjusted by adding or removing the number of stitches and/or rows.
Finished sizes are approximate because of pattern stretchiness.

Yarn suggested
Village Yarn “Basic Boucle”, 81% acrylic, 19% nylon, 3.5oz-273 yards(100g-250m), 2 balls, or any other light weight yarn.

Notions: circular needle US 6 / 4.0mm and a set of US 6 / 4.0mm double pointed needles(if you do not use a “magic loop” technic for the mittens), stitch markers, darn needle, stitches holder or a piece of about 12” long contrasting color waste yarn.

Patterns are written in standard U.S. English terms.
Pattern contains written round by round knitting instructions for the mittens and row by row knitting instructions for the scarf. All patterns are carefully reviewed, but I must make reservation for possible mistakes.
